EDDIE VAN HALEN APPROVED: Official Guitar Lessons by Marko Coconut
​Back in 2009 Eddie Van Halen found out I was making a Van Halen guitar tutorial DVD for my series Phrase By Phrase guitar method. Eddie’s manager got in touch with me and said, “Hey, Eddie thinks what you’re doing is really cool. He wants you to use a prototype of his new Wolfgang electric guitar.” They sent me the guitar, which is what I used exclusively on the entire DVD. Folks, this was one of the greatest honors of my life and music career. Eddie was the reason I switched from acoustic to electric at a young age, and now he wants me to use his guitar on my DVD. What an awesome experience! What an honor! RIP my friend and inspiration.
 
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't think twice, just order it! I ordered and I'm glad I did. I'm only a intermediate level player and I find this DVD very helpful I wouldn't otherwise learn as fast as I have. I think the best I like about Mark Sternal DVDs is his instructions on different techniques and especially the 75% slowed down versions of the phrases which I have looped and play along until I nail it and then move on. I've been playing eruption for the past few days and still haven't made through the first part at 75% but getting real close. I hope this review was helpful. ~ Amazon Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... to being able to play Eruption and other songs pretty well. This is a great DVD Went from not being able to play much Van Halen to being able to play Eruption and other songs pretty well. This is a great DVD, and if you put in the time and practice, you can sound like EVH. You won't sound exactly like him because, hey, he's one of a kind, but you can sound pretty close. There's even a section on how to get the VH tone. Again, you won't get his exact tone, but you can get close. ~ Clifton R. Baker
